FOREST SERVICE AND SNOWBOWL PREVAIL AT SUPREME COURT

June 8, 2009 - The Arizona Snowbowl is pleased that the United States Supreme Court has decided not to review the en banc decision of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in favor of the United States Forest Service and Snowbowl.

The Arizona Snowbowl would like to thank all those who made this result possible and would like to thank our staff and customers for their patience during the court proceedings.  Snowbowl will work with the Forest Service to implement the upgrade plan which will enhance the skiing experience for the guests.

The Snowbowl plans to work with the Forest Service to develop a schedule to implement the entire project, which will occur over the next several years.  Do to the scope of the project, the snowmaking system will not be operational for the 2009-2010 season.
